The Student Council sponsors a Welcome Supper and a Welcome Dance to help our new students adjust to life at Bethlehem. Student Council representatives assist in making the annual magazine drive a success. Contests for Halloween costumes and decorated homeroom doors at Christmas provide friendly rivalry among students. Career Day allows students to have contact with a variety of professionals. Listening to presentations and asking questions assist students in choosing a career path. The grand finale of the year is Awards Day. This day centers around a theme and provides an opportunity for students to exhibit their talents. Two student council representatives are chosen from each homeroom. If more than two volunteer, an election takes place. At the end of the year, student council officers are elected for the following year.
