Admissions

The formal admissions process begins with the Placement Test. This is a nationally standardized test that is given at Bethlehem on the second Saturday in December.

Once a student takes the Placement Test at Bethlehem, the school communicates on a regular basis through the mail with families leading up to the pre-registration nights. Families will begin to receive much of the normal literature available to all Bethlehem Families: Our monthly Parent Newsletter; the Blue & Gold Newsletter, our School magazine The Bethlehem Star; and information about upcoming events of interest at
Bethlehem. It takes time to have the tests scored and gather input from elementary schools. There is no need to worry about potential roadblocks to admission during this waiting period.

Pre-registration normally occurs during the third week in March. There is a $25 fee for pre-registration, indicating a family's commitment to partner with
Bethlehem for their children’s high school years. During pre-registration, families meet with individual counselors, and administrators to decide on a program of studies for their child.

Registration

Registration sessions for Freshmen occur in March each year.

The evening sessions allow our administrative team and academic counselor to review your placement exam scores and your elementary school recommendation form to help in the decision on your course placement for your high school course work.

A registration packet will be mailed in late February to all students that take the placement test. This packet will include a course description guide, application form, and tuition assistance application.

Registration for fall 2008 will take place in the
Bethlehem library on the following dates:

Monday – March 10, 2008, 4:00-7:00 PM

Tuesday – March 11, 2008, 4:00-7:00 PM
