Join us in congratulating:
  • Madison Brady and Katie Hopper, class of 2017. Both women received national championship rings along with their Bellarmine teammates. Madison’s was from the NDA for dance. Katie’s was from NCA for cheer.
  • Bethlehem celebrated the naming of our gymnasium. Betty Hart (‘75) Tommy Crawford (‘17) and Gail Crawford accepted drawings honoring Steve Hart (‘77) and Jimmy Crawford (‘83). The paper banner will be removed and the gym name will be painted in its place.
  • Jared Harper, 2015, will graduated in May from the University of Louisville  with a BS in Communication. He was also commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer in the Kentucky National Guard. He will soon be attending basic officer leadership training in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Salute!
  • Salute to Caleb Winebrenner, class of 2015. He has been commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army. He completed the ROTC program at EKU and earned a BS in Homeland Security with minors in both Emergency & Disaster Management and Military Service & Leadership. He will next be completing ranger school before he is stationed later this year.
  • Congratulations to Bethlehem’s biology and environmental science teacher, Mrs Connie McDowell (class of ‘83), on earning the prestigious designation of National Geographic Certified Educator!
  • We have 3 new doctors in the family! All three of these Bethlehem grads graduated from the University of Louisville Medical School. Dr. Victoria Lynn (Walter) Conniff ('12) has also been promoted to Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Emily Kaitlin Martin ('11) and Brandon Blake Mudd ('12). Congratulations to all!
  • Ellen Bowling Wichmann, Class of 1985, was honored with an Educational Foundation Award at the Kentucky Right to Life Association’s Celebration of Life banquet. Wichmann, after a long career in engineering at General Electric, is now serving as director of the Little Way Pregnancy Care Center in Louisville. Little Way offers resources to help parents choose life.
  • Travis Ray, ('16) was among University of Louisville Fulbright Scholars. He is a member UofL’s Guaranteed Entrance to Medical School (GEMS) program, graduated this spring with majors in biology and Spanish. He was selected for a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to Spain. He is from Shepherdsville, Kentucky.

Welcome to our newest Baby Banshees and Baby Eagles:
  • Stuart Hamilton and his wife Sara welcomed their FIFTH son into the world, Josiah William Hamilton: Born at 3pm on 3/23/20 weighing 8pds 3oz., 20.5 inches long.
  • David Patrick ('08) and his wife Sarah welcomed a son on May 9, Navi Bond Patrick, who weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces.
  • Katie Reid Russell ('10) and her husband Kyle on the birth of their son, Noah. He was born on July 17th, weighing 6 lbs, 12.5 and 19.5 in long.
