Debbie Jones – Bachelor of Music from the University of Northern Iowa; Director of Music at St. Joseph Parish since September 2001. Debbie directs five of the ten choirs at the parish along with scheduling all choirs and coordinating music at all the Masses. Currently teaches Music Theory at Bethlehem High School. The Music Theory course involves sight singing, chord studies, music analysis, rhythmic dictation, aural listening, writing and composing music. This class is for students who have been studying an instrument for several years. Students who plan to continue university studies in music would benefit from this class. |
