This course introduces students to Hispanic culture and initiates the development of the four basic communication skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing the Spanish language.

SPANISH II

Prerequisite: Spanish I
This course expands the student's communication skills from Spanish I, while enlarging an appreciation of Hispanic cultures.

SPANISH III

Prerequisite: Spanish II
This course reinforces acquired grammar and develops new vocabulary through a variety of communication activities based on everyday situations. Departmental approval required.

SPANISH IV

This course provides an opportunity to perfect communication skills by a variety of methods built around a closer study of Hispanic literature. Departmental approval required.

FRENCH I

This course is an introduction to the French language. Emphasis is placed on four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. This course also introduces aspects of the French culture.

FRENCH II

Prerequisite: French I
This course expands the student's communication skills developed in French I. It also further explores aspects of the French culture.

FRENCH III
