One semester of Physical Education is a state requirement for graduation. This course promotes and encourages lifelong fitness through a wide variety of activities. These ideas are stressed throughout the course: personal fitness, team sport fundamentals, flexibility, and fitness testing. Participation and effort are stressed, not athletic skills or ability.

One semester of Health is a state requirement for graduation. In Health, the students are taught that "WELLNESS" includes physical, mental, and social health and that the greatest influence on health is our chosen lifestyle such as diet and exercise and avoiding drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.
FITNESS FOR LIFE

Grades: 11,12
This course will incorporate various methods of exercise, coupled with information regarding nutrition, health and wellness, to help the student develop life-long habits designed for a healthy lifestyle.
TEAM SPORTS I

Grades: 10,11,12
This class consists of advanced activities that focus on the inner workings of a number of team sports. Skills and team play will be emphasized.
TEAM SPORTS II

This class is an extension of Team Sports I. This class consists of advanced activities that focus on the inner workings of a number of team sports. Skills and team play will be emphasized.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

This class develops life skills in the care and maintenance of your body. Basic cardiovascular and physical development skills that can be used throughout a lifetime will be taught.
