  • Bethlehem is the only Catholic High School located outside of Jefferson County in the Archdiocese of Louisville.

  • Bethlehem High School was founded on September 8, 1819, by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.

  • Enrollment averages around 300 students from eight counties.

  • Our student to teacher ratio is 15:1.

  • Bethlehem is proud to have all new technology available to teachers and students. New iPads and laptops are available for classroom use and a wireless network throughout the building makes it possible for everyone to use their own personal technology devices.

  • ACT Composite scores exceed state and national averages.

  • Nearly all of our students make a successful transition to a college or technical school.

  • Students can earn over 30 hours of college credit while attending Bethlehem through the Dual Credit Program and the Advanced Placement Program.

  • The Marlona Ruggles Ice Student Center for Success is available for students who need academic support. 
  • Free bus transportation is provided to Bullitt, Hardin, Marion, and Washington counties.

  • Nine men's and eleven women's sports teams are available.

  • Our school colors are blue and gold.

  • The school mascots are the Eagle for the men's teams and the Banshee for the women's teams.
