Student Life: National Honor Society

Bethlehem is proud to host a chapter of the National Honor Society.  For many students, selection as a member of the National Honor Society is the pinnacle of their achievements in school.  This honor is recognized throughout the nation and serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character.

Students are invited to  apply for membership their junior or senior year.  Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 and at least 300 quality points their junior year or 375 points their senior year.

Once a student becomes a member of Bethlehem’s Chapter of National Honor Society, they must complete a minimum of 4 projects and 15 additional service hours.

Through NHS chapter service activities, members maintain and extend the qualities that won them selection.  Membership is thus both an honor and a commitment.
