Class of 2019

Gracie will be attending Belmont University. majoring in legal studies and minoring in music.  She has accepted scholarships from Belmont University, the Catholic Education Foundation's Father John H. Morgan Scholarship, two scholarships from Distinguished Young Woman, a Miss Monticello Scholarship and a Miss Nelson County Scholarship as well as a My Old Kentucky Home Community Service Award. While at Bethlehem, she participated in theatre and served as a Student Ambassador. She was a Kentucky Governor's Scholar and is the National Honor Society president.
Caroline will be majoring in speech pathology and special education at Eastern Kentucky University. She has accepted the EKU Merit Scholarship and two Distinguished Young Woman scholarships.  Caroline was actively involved in the St. Joseph W.O.W. group, the National Honor Society, and was a member of the Louisville Archdiocese Youth Advisory Board.  Caroline received the Bethlehem Excellence in Science Award.
James plans to attend Elizabethtown Community College and then transfer to summer flight training at Cherry Hill Aviation to acquire his private pilot's license. He is a "Triple Threat" athlete, participating in archery, cross country, and track and has competed at the state level in all three sports.  He was recently honored with a citizenship award in memory of Estella Jones, Bethlehem teacher.
Carly will attend Eastern Kentucky University and major in nursing.  She has accepted the Chairman Scholarship and the EKU National Alumni Association Scholarship.  Carly helped lead her soccer team to four district and region championship titles, and two trips to the state Final Four as well as a Class A State Championship.  She helped her basketball team win the region championship and make the first Sweet Sixteen in Bethlehem's history.  
Olivia plans to major in exploratory arts and sciences at the University of Louisville.  She has accepted the Distinguished Young Woman Scholarship.  She is a Commonwealth Academy Scholar. While at Bethlehem, Olivia participated in volleyball, tennis, and drama and has proven herself to be an accomplished artist and musician.  She regularly plays the piano at parish masses.  
Nolan will attend the University of Kentucky and major in psychology.  He has accepted the Provost Scholarship.  Nolan is an Advanced Placement Scholar.  
Miranda will be attending Bellarmine and majoring in nursing.  She accepted the Bellarmine Merit Scholarship and the Flaget Memorial Auxillary Scholarship.  She recently earned her Certified Nursing Assistant credentials.  Miranda was on the Class A State, 4-time region winning Soccer team and was a senior retreat leader.    
Hayden will be attending the University of Louisville and majoring in sports administration.  He will receive the Legacy scholarship.  Hayden received a varsity letter on the archery team.    
Alton is planning to join his family business, Team Boone, in heavy equipment sales.  He completed two years of the electrical program at the Nelson County Area Technology Center and earned his OSHA certification.  Alton participated in soccer and archery while at Bethlehem.
Logan will attend Elizabethtown Community College. Logan was actively involved in the weekly production of Star News and was a member of the Interact Club. 
Adrianna is planning to get her esthetician license at P.J.'s College of Cosmetology.  Adrianna served on the senior prom committee. 
Dallon is planning to take some time to explore his option and consider college in the future.  Dallon was the Prom Committee Chairperson and was voted on the prom court.
Drew will attend the University of Kentucky.  He completed the Kentucky Governor's School for Entrepreneurs the summer before his senior year. Drew has earned the rank of Eagle Scout by making improvements to Wickland. 
Mollie will attend Murray State University and major in veterinary technology. She has accepted the Provost Scholarship and the Mabel Pullen Scholarship.  She was the varsity libero for volleyball and a four year letterman.  She was the football homecoming queen and a National Honor Society member. Mollie recently received the Excellence in the Study of Religion award and the senior 110% award. 
Joey will major in theatre at the University of Kentucky.  He is a graduate of the Governor's School for the Arts program and has accepted their Provost scholarship from UK.  He has starred in several theatre productions at Bethlehem and has earned multiple speech awards at the state level.  He also qualified for the National Speech championship to be held this summer.  
Lucas is attending the University of Kentucky and majoring in mechanical engineering.  He was awarded the Governor's Scholars Presidential Scholarship.  Lucas is a Kentucky's Governor's Scholar.  He also earned his TRACK certification in automotive technology at the Nelson County Area Technology Center.  He is a four year baseball player and a member of the Academic Team.
Zane will be attending the University of Louisville and hopes to transfer to the University of Montana to major in forestry.  He has his own business taking aerial photos and videos as a certified drone operator.  He videoed the progression of the Bethlehem athletic complex from the air.
Haleigh will attend the Jefferson Community Technical College and hopes to continue her education at the University of Louisville to become a physician's assistant focused in critical care.  She was voted on the homecoming court in basketball and football.  She stays busy competing on the Western equestrian riding circuit.  
Camryn is planning to attend Jefferson Community Technical College.  She was a four year player on the volleyball team and a member of the National Honor Society.
Julia is planning to major in biology at the University of Louisville.  She was a Bethlehem cheerleader and has participated in competitive cheer at Bullitt Athletics. 
Jordan plans to attend Bellarmine University and major in exercise science/pre-physical therapy and play collegiate soccer.  She was the Nelson County Distinguished Young Woman and a member of the four-time region champion, State Class A winning soccer team.  She is also an Advanced Placement Scholar  and received the senior Academic Excellence award. 
Eli will be attending Elizabethtown Community College and majoring in business. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout for improving playground safety at Cox's Creek Elementary.  He is an accomplished pianist having studied music since second grade.  Eli is a three year letterman in Honor Roll. 
Nash will attend Western Kentucky University and major in agriculture and chemistry.  He is a graduate of the Governor's School of Entrepreneurs and earned his certification in automotive technology from the Nelson County Area Technology Center. Nash was recently honored with the Senior Leadership award.  
Caleb will be attending Murray State University and majoring in business. He was a member of the varsity soccer team who won the district title in 2017. He received a "letter" for the academic Honor Roll.  Caleb was the recipient of the Excellence in Physical Education award.  
Ezra will be studying economics and finance and playing football at Centre College.  He accepted the Centre Award Scholarship and the Centre Endowment Grant.  He received the Cathy Ritchie MVP Football Player Award and is a Student Ambassador.  Outside of Bethlehem, Ezra plays for the Hard Knox club lacrosse team.
Mitchell will be majoring in business at Elizabethtown Community College.  He played varsity football and later varsity soccer and was a member of the 2017 District Champion Team.  He is the sports commentator for Star News.  
Kyle will be attending Bluegrass Community and Technical College and majoring in business.  He has been a four year baseball player and was named to the 5th Region baseball All A Classic All-Tournament Team.  He is a three year Honor Roll letterman and an Advanced Placement Scholar.
Alex will be attending Lindsey Wilson and majoring in elementary education.  She has received the Distinguished Young Woman Scholarship and the A.P. White Scholarship. Alex has served as a Student Ambassador and a senior retreat leader and runs track, cross country and cheers. 
Nick will be majoring in chemical engineering at the University of Louisville.  He was on the tennis team. 
Reagan will be attending Bellarmine University and plans to double major in biology and exercise science on a pre-physical therapy track.  She was selected to attend the Hugh O'Brian Leadership program.  
Maggie has accepted the Mary Agnes Dugan Clayton Scholarship to attend Bellarmine University and study digital art.  Her designs have been chosen for two stamps at the Nazareth post office for Christmas and featured on programs for Bethlehem theatrical productions. She is a member of the Banshee swim team.
Seth is weighing his options about where to play collegiate baseball.  He hopes to major in biology.  He is a pitcher and third base player and lettered in varsity baseball three years.  He produces the monthly PLG segment for Star News. He was also on the golf and bass fishing teams this year.
McKenna will be attending the University of Kentucky and majoring in political science and integrated strategic communications.  She has accepted the Nelson County Farm Bureau Scholarship.  She was an Inaugural member and three year president of the Y Club where she actively participated in the Kentucky Youth Assembly and the Kentucky United Nations Assembly.  She is captain of the speech team and is the number one seed on the school's tennis team, winning the Midland Conference championship this year.    
Patrick plans to take a gap year before attending Bellarmine University.  He has been offered the Monsignor Horrigan and Trustee Scholarships.  Patrick is in the 30 and Above Club for the ACT exam.
Elizabeth will be majoring in exercise science at Transylvania University.  She earned the Trustee scholarship and a music scholarship for guitar.  She is an Advanced Placement Scholar and in the 30 and Above Club for her ACT score.  She is on the school's archery team.
Hannah plans to study communication disorders at Western Kentucky University and has been awarded a merit scholarship.  She is the Interact Club President and has been an active member of the St. Joseph W.O.W. club and traveled with them on a mission trip to Belize.  She serves on the school's Advancement Council.  Hannah was the recipient of the Rising Star award in art and the Ronald Reagan leadership award. 
Patrick is planning to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.  He was named to the All-Tournament teams his junior and senior years in soccer.  
Lauren will be attending the University of Kentucky, majoring in international studies and planning to pursue medical school.  She has accepted the Presidential Scholarship.  She is a Kentucky Governor's Scholar, in the 30 and Above Club on the ACT and an Advanced Placement Scholar.  She received the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award at the School and Regional Level.  She was the recipient of the Academic Excellence awards in both mathematics and science.
Hunter will be employed by United Parcel Service as he explores opportunities in the field of Information Technology.
Hayden plans to attend the Savannah College or Art and Design and major in animation.  He has accepted the Academic Honors Scholarship.  He is in the ACT 30 and Above Club.
Carson is planning to attend Eastern Kentucky University and study aviation with a concentration in professional flight.  He has been awarded the Dean's scholarship.  Carson has earned a private pilot's license. He is an anchor for the school's weekly program, Star News.
Laura plans to attend Northeastern University in the Explore Program.  She recently had an art showing at the Kentucky Museum of Arts and Crafts.  She received Bethlehem's Excellence in both Art and English awards.  She is a four year member of the Academic Team, qualifying for the State Governor's Cup competition in Language Arts and Arts and Humanities for the past three years.  
Nico plans to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and major in aerospace engineering, minor in business and join the Navy ROTC.  He was awarded the Dean's Scholarship and the Alumni Scholarship. Nico is industry certified in Computer Aided Design, earning the highest score on the exam at the Nelson County Area Technology Center. Nico is on the track and cross country teams and holds school records in both sports.
Hope plans to attend Jefferson Community College and then pursue a dental hygiene degree at the University of Louisville.  She will be taking advantage of the Earn and Learn Scholarship from United Parcel Service.  She holds a school record in the 3200 meter run for track and for the 5K in cross country. She is a four year volleyball player.
Hank plans to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and study business.  He is a member of the Interact Club and was elected to the homecoming court.  Hank has had an after school job throughout high school.  
Luke received a work-ready scholarship to earn his certification as an Emergency Medical Technician through Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.  He will continue to work as an EMT.  
Evan will be attending Western Kentucky University and majoring in International Business.  He was awarded the WKU Alumni Association Fund Scholarship.  He was inducted into the French National Honor Society and was the recipient of the Excellence in Accounting award.
Faith plans to attend Lindsey Wilson College and double major in elementary education and Christian ministries.  She received scholarships for both academics and athletics.  She was a national contender in archery and was named the Outstanding Athlete by the Women in Sports Honors program.  
Carl has been appointed to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, an education valued at $416,000.  He plans to major in computer science with a specialization in network security.  Carl runs cross country and track and his 4x800 relay team holds the school record.  He was also a charter member of the school's robotics team.  He is an Advanced Placement Scholar and is in the ACT 30 and Above Club.
Avani plans to attend the University of Kentucky and aspires to be a dentist.  She will accept the Provost Scholarship, a Rotary Club scholarship, and two scholarships from the Distinguished Young Woman program.  She was named the Outstanding Senior by Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer.  She has won numerous awards in speech in her high school season.   
J.T. has received his Microsoft Networking Fundamentals certification.  He studied Information Technology at the Nelson County Area Technology Center.  He has been an active participant in the theatrical productions at Bethlehem. 
Anna plans to study biology at Bellarmine and aspires to be a veterinarian.  She was voted the basketball homecoming queen. She is president of the Bio Club and is in the ACT 30 and Above Club.
Abigail plans to study nursing and play soccer at Eastern Kentucky University.  She received the Provost Scholarship and an athletic scholarship.  She was a member of the four-time district and region winning Class A State Champion soccer team.  She was named to the Kentucky High School Athletic Association first team All-State team for three years and was named 5th Region Player of the Year for soccer. 
Sarah plans to attend Eastern Kentucky University and study criminal justice.  She has accepted the Principal’s scholarship.  She was chosen as the Winter Formal queen.  She is a four year volleyball player.  
Eli plans to study political science at the University of Kentucky.  He has accepted the Provost Scholarship.  He is an AP Scholar, is a member of the National Honor Society, and is in the ACT 30 and Above Club.  
Chris plans to study biology at the University of Kentucky.  He has been awarded the Provost scholarship.  Chris is a four year varsity soccer letterman, is in the ACT 30 and Above Club and is an AP Scholar.  
Abby plans to study bioengineering at the University of Louisville.  She has accepted the Trustees Scholarship and the Paul Winnia Scholarship.  She is an Advanced Placement Scholar and is in the ACT 30 and Above Club. She serves as a Student Ambassador for Bethlehem.   Abby was the recipient of the Academic Excellence in Mathematics award.
Mattie plans to attend Western Kentucky University and major in health sciences.  She has received a WKU merit scholarship, along with scholarships from the Nelson County Farm Bureau, the Frances Kateri Edelen Memorial fund, and WesBanco.  She is a varsity softball player, the Student Council Vice President, and a National Honor Society member.
David Michael plans to attend the University of Kentucky to study civil engineering.  He will receive the Provost scholarship and the Jackson E. Breunig Scholarship for Engineering.  He is a four year baseball player and was named to the 5th region All A Classic All-Tournament team.  He served on the Bethlehem Advancement Council.  
Emily plans to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and pursue a degree in a medical field. She served on the Prom Committee.  
Lizzi plans to study criminal justice as Eastern Kentucky University.  She has been awarded the Premier Scholarship and the National Alumni Scholarship.  She served as the secretary for the National Honor Society.  She is an Advanced Placement Scholar and the recipient of the Excellence in Mathematics award.
Abigail plans to attend the University of Kentucky and major in communication sciences and disorders.  She was a four year member of the volleyball team and, in the off-season, plays volleyball for Club Unity.  She received an honor roll "letter" for two years.  
John plans to attend Centre College on the Faculty Scholarship and Centre Endowment Grant.  John is a Kentucky Governor's Scholar, a four year varsity tennis player and member of the region winning Academic Team.  The bill he sponsored regarding mental health training for first responders at the Kentucky Youth Assembly was named Outstanding Bill.  
Nick plans to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and study forensic science. Nick was a four year football player, runs track and plays baseball.  Nick was voted the winter formal king.  
Madie plans to study sports administration and play soccer at Georgetown College. She has been awarded the Georgetown College Founders Scholarship, the Higdon Family Scholarship, and scholarships from the Distinguished Young Woman program and Toyota of Bowling Green Athlete of the Month. Madie helped her soccer team win four Region championship titles, and two trips to the state Final Four as well as a Class A State Championship.  She helped lead her basketball team to the region championship and the first Sweet Sixteen in Bethlehem's history. She recently received the Steve Hart award.  
Noah enlisted with the United States Marine Corps.  He will be part of the Security Force Regiment (Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team) stationed in Norfolk, Virginia.   Noah has been an integral member of the region winning academic team, qualifying for the state Governor's Cup for three years in Arts and Humanities and Social Studies. Noah is actively involved with the St. Joseph W.O.W group and traveled to Belize with them on a mission trip.
Dawson plans to study broadcasting and business and play baseball at Indiana University Southeast.  He was elected as Student Council President, played varsity baseball for four years and is an anchor for Star News.
Will plans to study nursing at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.  He has played four years of baseball, serves on the school's Advancement Council and is an active member of the St. Joseph Parish W.O.W. group.  
Nic plans to study communications with a specialization in sports broadcasting at Bellarmine University.  He has accepted the Monsignor Horrigan Scholarship.  Nic won the region in pole vaulting his junior year.  He is a "triple threat" participating in basketball, soccer, and track. He also serves as a Bethlehem Student Ambassador. 
Lance plays to study manufacturing engineering at Western Kentucky University.  He played baseball his junior and senior year.  He is a member of the Interact Club and is a producer of the weekly school newscast, Star News.
Kendall is planning to study cosmetology at Paul Mitchell in Lexington.  She is an anchor on Star News, has been a cheerleader and was elected to the Homecoming court. Kendall chose to become Catholic while at Bethlehem and celebrated her First Communion and Confirmation with the student body.  
Blake is planning to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and study electrical technology.  He has been awarded the Kentucky Work Ready Scholarship.  He played varsity soccer and was a member of the 2017 District Champion Team.
Lyndsey plans to study marketing at Jefferson Community and Technical College.  She was a Bethlehem cheerleader and participates in Bullitt Athletics competitive cheer which placed third in the nation last year. She was elected to the Prom Queen Court.
Eli plans to attend Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.  He is a four year varsity letterman in baseball and holds the school record for stolen bases. He serves as a Student Ambassador for Bethlehem.
