✨ The Season of Advent Begins ✨

On Monday, we celebrated the beginning of Advent, a sacred season of hope, preparation, and joyful anticipation. This morning, we placed our Advent wreath and candles in the school foyer as a symbol of Christ’s light entering the world and the hope that grows within each of us as we wait for His coming.

Each candle represents a powerful reminder:
🕯 Hope
🕯 Peace
🕯 Joy
🕯 Love

As we light a new candle each week, may we reflect on God’s presence in our lives, prepare our hearts for Christ, and shine His love to others through kindness, compassion, and service.

Bethlehem High School is proud to celebrate senior Lincoln Livers, who officially signed with the U.S. Army National Guard this week as a 31B - Military Police! 🇺🇸💙 Lincoln continues to lead by example, and we’re grateful for his courage, commitment, and desire to serve. After graduation, he’ll head to Murray State University.

The Bethlehem High School 2026–2027 school year calendar has been officially approved! We’re excited to share the important dates and milestones that will guide the upcoming academic year. This calendar helps families, students, and staff plan ahead with confidence as we look forward to another year of growth, learning, and community. Bethlehem High School Volleyball is excited to host a 2025 8th Grade Volleyball Skills Session on Saturday, December 13th, 2025, from 1–4 p.m. following the Bethlehem Placement Test! 🏐 This special session, led by Coach Ali Sparks and Coach Derek Roby, is open to all current 8th graders interested in sharpening their volleyball skills and getting a glimpse of what it’s like to be part of the Banshee Volleyball program. The Endow Club at Bethlehem High School provides a welcoming space for young women to grow in faith, friendship, and understanding of their God-given dignity. 🌟 Rooted in the teachings of St. John Paul II, Endow’s mission is “to educate women toward a more profound understanding of their God-given dignity through study in small group communities of faith and friendship.” Members meet once a month for book study and reflection, guided by dedicated sponsors who help foster meaningful discussions and spiritual growth. Each year, the club hosts special events such as the Advent Baby Shower for Mary and the May Crowning in the spring. Endow is part of an international Catholic apostolate active in over 130 dioceses worldwide, uniting women everywhere in their journey of faith.

Meet Canaan Clayton, our Electrical Intern with Electrical Outlet! Canaan is gaining valuable hands-on experience in the electrical field, learning the ins and outs of wiring, installation, and safety. His curiosity and strong work ethic are helping him build a bright future in this skilled trade!

Students in Mr. Payette’s class had a fun and engaging hands-on experience this week as they built candy DNA models! Using their creativity and knowledge of genetics, they were able to construct accurate representations of DNA structures while enjoying a memorable and interactive lab. Their attention to detail and enthusiasm for learning helped them excel, turning a sweet activity into an opportunity to deepen their understanding of science. Great job to all the students for bringing such energy and creativity to the classroom!

Bethlehem Wrestling had a strong showing recently at the Tates Creek scrimmage, demonstrating impressive growth and determination across the board. Our athletes moved with confidence, showcased solid technique, and held their own in every matchup. The hard work they’ve been putting in at practice was clear—especially in their pace, positioning, and transitions. This scrimmage offered a great early test, and the team responded with focus, grit, and a competitive edge that promises an exciting season ahead. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding leadership of our coaches, who push our wrestlers to improve every single day. Their dedication inspires this program, and we can’t wait to see all that the team will accomplish under their guidance!
