Congratulations to Noah Downey on being accepted into the Bachelor of Arts in Architecture program beginning Fall 2026! This is an incredible accomplishment, especially given how highly competitive the program is and the many strong applicants considered each year. Being selected speaks volumes about Noah’s talent, dedication, and potential for success. We are so proud of him and look forward to seeing him flourish at the UK School of Architecture as he begins this exciting next chapter.

Over the weekend, the Pro-Life Club and Team 316 came together for the annual Souper Bowl of Caring, supporting the Bread for Life Food Pantry in our community. Students and staff participated through a school-wide penny war and by preparing a chili entry for the competition, all to raise funds for a great cause. The event was an incredible success, raising an impressive $28,000 in total. This initiative also served as Bethlehem’s January Be A Light service project, and we could not be prouder of everyone who helped make it possible. 💙💛 #WeAreBethlehem #LightingTheWay

Over the past four years, the most the team had ever sent to State was a single relay team, but this season marked a major breakthrough with 10 total Banshees qualifying for State—including all three relay teams and four individual entries from both the boys and girls teams. Qualifying for State places these swimmers among a very small, elite group. The team had a strong day of competition in Bowling Green, setting multiple season-best and personal records, even while missing a few swimmers and relying on alternates. A standout moment came from 8th grader Madison Yates, who broke the Bethlehem School record in the girls’ 50 free after setting a goal at the start of the season to go under :28—a goal she finally achieved. The post also looks ahead with optimism, noting the transition into the offseason to reset goals and prepare for the next season. The State qualifiers include the 200 Medley Relay (Caroline George, Madison Yates, Whitney Elder, Corbyn Stivers; alternates Taylor Goshorn, Olivia Minor), 200 Free Relay (Caroline George, Madison Yates, Whitney Elder, Grace Noce; alternates Reiss Anderson, Olivia Minor), 400 Free Relay (Reiss Anderson, Grace Noce, Corbyn Stiver, Taylor Goshorn; alternates Gianna Dillard, Gracie Hicks), and individual events featuring Madison Yates (50 Free – school record, and 100 Free), Whitney Elder (100 Butterfly), and Caroline George (100 Breaststroke).
