We would like to welcome Coach Kelly Harrison as part of our faculty here at Bethlehem High School. Coach Harrison will take on the role of Academix Interventionist and will play a vital role in the development of our students throughout the course of the school year.
Coach Harrison is a graduate of Bardstown High School, has an Associates Degree of Divinity in Biblical Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Psychology. Over the course of 27 years, he has been a Youth Advocate/Interventionist, a Youth Advocate Programs/Advocate Plus member, and a Youth Soccer Coach/Trainer. He has been a Director/Volunteer of the Nelson County Youth Soccer Association/Bardstown Youth Soccer for 40 years. He has also led the Bardstown/Nelson County Youth Empowerment Project for 9 years. In addition to all of these roles, he is also a School Advocate/Interventionist for both Bardstown City Schools as well as the Nelson County Schools for 17 years.
We are also very blessed to have him as our Head Boys Soccer Coach for four years as well as our Head Wrestling Coach for two years. There could not be a better role model and person to help lead our young people here at Bethlehem and we are beyond grateful to have him here with us every single day.
