It is time to register your current Bethlehem student for the 26-27 school year. Mrs. Livers will be meeting with students during the first week of March to review the scheduling process for the 2026–2027 school year. During these meetings, students will learn about course offerings, long-range academic planning, and graduation requirements. Students will bring home a scheduling form that must be signed by a parent/guardian and returned by March 10. The $50 registration fee will be billed through FACTS. Parents, please complete the registration forms for 26-27 by clicking the title of this post. We need one form per student. This is not necessary for incoming freshmen as their registration has already been completed.

Congratulations to Mr. Dan Bradley on being elected into the 5th Region Athletic Director Hall of Fame—a truly well-deserved honor! Mr. Bradley dedicated 31 years to Nelson County High School as a teacher, where he taught AP and Dual Credit English, and he is now in his fourth year of teaching at Bethlehem. His impact extends far beyond the classroom. Over a remarkable 31-year coaching career in Cross Country and Track & Field at Nelson County, he mentored and developed 35 athletes who went on to compete at the collegiate level. In addition to teaching and coaching, Dan served five years as Assistant Principal and three years as Curriculum Resource Teacher at Nelson County. He has also faithfully served Bethlehem as Assistant Athletic Director for the past four years and stepped in as Interim Athletic Director during the second semester of the 2023–2024 school year. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dan has spent the last 24 years serving in prison ministry in Danville. His legacy of leadership, integrity, and service—both in education and in the community—is truly exceptional, and this recognition reflects the profound impact he has made on countless lives. 💙💛

Coach Tim Mattingly will host a 2026 Freshman Football Informational Meeting on February 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Bethlehem cafeteria.
All 8th grade student-athletes interested in playing football, along with their parents, are invited to attend. The meeting will last approximately 30 minutes and will be led by Head Coach Tim Mattingly, who will share important information regarding player expectations, practice schedules, and the overall structure of the program. This is a valuable opportunity for families to learn how Bethlehem Football can enhance their child’s high school experience and to ask any questions they may have. Congratulations to our Freshmen Eagles Basketball Team on winning the 19th District Championship this weekend! 🦅🏀

The Eagles defeated Washington County 52–33 in the semifinals and went on to claim the championship with a 46–29 victory over Bardstown.

They finished the season with an outstanding 14–1 record!

The future is bright for Eagles Basketball!

Bethlehem High School is excited to welcome back former cheerleaders for a special Cheer Alumni Night! Alumni are invited to reunite with the current cheer team, be recognized, and relive school spirit by performing the Bethlehem fight song during halftime or joining in the fun from the sidelines. The event will take place on Friday, February 20th, with alumni meeting at 6:00 PM for a social hour and brief practice before the game tips off at 7:30 PM in the Bethlehem High School gym. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect, celebrate tradition, and cheer on the Eagles and Banshees once again! 💙💛📣

Congratulations to Noah Downey on being accepted into the Bachelor of Arts in Architecture program beginning Fall 2026! This is an incredible accomplishment, especially given how highly competitive the program is and the many strong applicants considered each year. Being selected speaks volumes about Noah’s talent, dedication, and potential for success. We are so proud of him and look forward to seeing him flourish at the UK School of Architecture as he begins this exciting next chapter.

Over the weekend, the Pro-Life Club and Team 316 came together for the annual Souper Bowl of Caring, supporting the Bread for Life Food Pantry in our community. Students and staff participated through a school-wide penny war and by preparing a chili entry for the competition, all to raise funds for a great cause. The event was an incredible success, raising an impressive $28,000 in total. This initiative also served as Bethlehem’s January Be A Light service project, and we could not be prouder of everyone who helped make it possible. 💙💛 #WeAreBethlehem #LightingTheWay
