Dear Families,
I hope you have all had a fun and relaxing summer and ready for all this new school year will bring! See below for some wonderful happenings to jump start the year!
- At all weekend Masses this Sat/Sun Aug. 4 & 5: Blessing of the Backpacks for all ages from pre-school to college. Bring you backpack to church and have it blessed!
- Handy Handy 2018 Signups are open. THERE ARE CHANGES THIS YEAR in order to keep everyone safe and well supervised. Go to the website at stjosephbasilica.org/youth-
ministry and see the open dates for registration for high school and 8th grade (separate dates). Forms will only be accepted at the Parish Office and only during the designated time. Be sure not to miss out!!! - Any high school youth interested in helping to plan Handy Hands can come on Wednesday nights in August. Meet in the WOW youth room from 7-8:30. Let me know if you are coming in case we change the time and location. Only come if you're ready to work and lead!

- Youth Mass & Kickoff of the 200th Celebration Year of St. Joseph Church - Looking for Youth to provide all the ministries at Mass. Contact me soon to signup!
- Blessing of Teen drivers and soon to be drivers, Aug. 19 after Mass in the church parking lot. Youth and families will gather for a short prayer service and Fr. Terry will anoint the teens, families, vehicles and ask the Holy Spirit to protect our precious cargo.
- Wednesday Youth Nights will begin on September 5 at 7:30-9pm. A schedule will be coming soon!
- Archdiocesan Youth Day at KY Kingdom September 9---details and signups coming soon!
