As the school year comes to a close, we want to wish everyone a fun, safe, and relaxing summer break! We hope your summer is filled with rest, laughter, family, friends, and plenty of unforgettable memories. Thank you for another wonderful year at Bethlehem—we are so grateful for our amazing students, families, faculty, and staff. Enjoy your summer, and we cannot wait to see everyone back for the 2026–27 school year!

Please help us welcome Mr. Tony Traughber to the English Department at Bethlehem High School! 📚✍️

Originally from middle Tennessee, Mr. Traughber has spent the past 23 years teaching high school Bible in Honolulu, Hawaii. We are so excited for him to bring his passion for reading, writing, and faith-filled education to Bethlehem!

Mr. Traughber earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Religion and English from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee and his Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

He brings more than 20 years of experience in teaching and curriculum design and has also served as a Student Council Advisor, Advisory Lead, Department Chair for 20 years, and Director of Faith Integration for more than two decades.

Mr. Traughber shared that some of his favorite authors include Tolkien, Lewis, and Chesterton, and he is looking forward to inspiring students through great literature and thoughtful writing in the classroom.

We are thrilled to have him join the Bethlehem family and cannot wait for our students to learn from his experience, wisdom, and love of learning!

The Class of 2026 has accomplished so many incredible things, and we could not be more proud of this amazing group of students! Throughout their time at Bethlehem, they have excelled academically, athletically, spiritually, and within our school community. From leadership roles and extracurricular involvement to athletic achievements, service opportunities, and academic success, this class has truly left a lasting impact on our school. Their hard work, determination, and dedication have been inspiring to watch, and we know they are headed toward even greater things in the future. Congratulations to the Class of 2026—we are so proud of all you have accomplished and cannot wait to see where life takes you next!

Congratulations to Sloane Smith, Carlie Humphries, and Maddy Krill on making school history as the first three Banshees to qualify for the State Tennis Tournament! Sloane qualified in singles competition, while Carlie and Maddy earned their spot in doubles. This is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and determination throughout the season. Also pictured is Coach Andy Hughes, whose leadership and support have helped guide these athletes to success. We are so proud of these Banshees!

We are incredibly excited to launch the first-ever Trap Shooting Team at Bethlehem High School! 💙💛

This opportunity would not be possible without the amazing support of our athletic department and so many parent volunteers who have stepped up to help our students through safety compliance, practices, organization, and support behind the scenes. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this new program possible for our students!

A very special thank you as well to Coach Howard for coaching and leading this team during its inaugural season. We are grateful for your time, leadership, and commitment to these young people.

We cannot wait to watch this program continue to grow and succeed at Bethlehem!

The Bethlehem High School Class of 2026 is a truly remarkable group of 78 students — brilliant, accomplished, confident, creative, and determined to make their mark on the world. 🎓💙💛

Representing Bullitt, Hardin, Jefferson, Marion, Nelson, Spencer, Taylor, and Washington counties, this outstanding class is made up of 53% males and 47% females.

Their accomplishments are incredibly impressive:
⭐ 44% are members of the National Honor Society
⭐ 14% participated in the Governor’s Program or Commonwealth Honors Academy
⭐ 5% will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level
⭐ 40% plan to pursue careers in STEM-related fields

Following graduation:
🎓 64% will attend an in-state four-year college or university
🎓 15% will enroll in a Community & Technical College
🎓 15% will continue their education out of state
🎓 5% will enter the workforce or begin an apprenticeship

Together, the Class of 2026 has earned more than $2.5 million in scholarships — and awards are still continuing to be announced! ✨

Class of 2026, you have already accomplished so much, and your journey is only beginning. Continue to dream big, work hard, lead with faith and courage, and write a story that inspires others.

We had a wonderful Project Graduation event at Five Star Field on Sunday night celebrating the Class of 2026! 🎓💙💛

Our seniors enjoyed a fun evening filled with great food, games, music, laughter, and memories together as they celebrated one final night as a class.

We are so thankful to be able to provide our students with a safe and enjoyable post-graduation experience surrounded by friends, faculty, and families.

A very special thank you to our incredible parent volunteers who continue to step up, serve, and provide such meaningful experiences for our students. Your support and dedication help make Bethlehem such a special place!

Good luck to our Baseball and Softball teams as they compete in the District Championships! Our Banshees take on Nelson County tonight at Nelson County High School at 5:30 PM, and our Eagles will face Nelson County tonight at 8:00 PM. We are so proud of both teams and all they have accomplished this season. We hope to see everyone there cheering on our Banshees and Eagles as they compete for a district title!
