Congratulations to Dylan Canterna on being awarded several impressive scholarship offers in recognition of his academic achievements and leadership. Dylan has been offered an Academic Scholarship from the University of Kentucky, the Trustees’ Scholarship from the University of Louisville, a Tuition Scholarship from Long Island University, the Leadership Scholarship for Mechanical Engineering from University of Connecticut, and The Orange Award for Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University. These opportunities reflect Dylan’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence in the classroom. Congratulations to Mr. Dan Bradley!

Bethlehem High School would like to congratulate Mr. Dan Bradley on being inducted into the 5th Region Hall of Fame last week during the 5th Region Girls Basketball Tournament at Central Hardin High School!

Mr. Bradley dedicated 31 years of service to Nelson County High School and is now in his fourth year teaching at Bethlehem High School. Throughout his career, he has worn many hats in education and athletics, serving as a Cross Country and Track coach, Assistant Principal, Curriculum Resource Teacher, and Assistant Athletic Director.

His leadership, commitment to students, and passion for education and athletics have impacted countless young people across our community.

We are so proud to have Mr. Bradley as part of the Bethlehem family and are thrilled to see him recognized among the greats of the 5th Region. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor! 🦅👏

Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Patrick, a day that reminds us of the power of faith, courage, and sharing the Gospel with others. As a Catholic school, we honor Saint Patrick for his missionary spirit and his dedication to teaching people about Christ. Through his life, Saint Patrick showed us the importance of trusting in God and living out our faith with joy and perseverance. May his example inspire our school community to grow in faith, serve others, and proudly live out the values of our Catholic tradition.

Bethlehem was honored to attend the 36th Annual Salute to Catholic School Alumni Dinner this week at the Galt House in Louisville, hosted by the Catholic Education Foundation. This incredible event continues to make a meaningful impact by raising funds that provide tuition assistance for students across Catholic schools.

The evening featured an inspiring keynote from best-selling author Adriana Trigiani and celebrated many outstanding members of the Catholic school community.

We were especially proud to celebrate Bethlehem senior Gracie Osborne, who was selected as our school’s Father John Morgan Scholarship recipient. Gracie was recognized alongside student recipients from Catholic high schools across the region and was awarded a $10,000 scholarship to the college of her choice as part of this honor. Last week, members of our Pro-Life Club had the opportunity to participate in the March for Life. This meaningful experience allowed students to stand together with others in support of the dignity and value of human life. Throughout the trip, our students represented our school with respect, thoughtfulness, and a strong commitment to their beliefs. We are incredibly proud of them for taking part in such an important event and for the way they continue to live out their values both in and outside of our school community.

Students in Ms. Kiefer’s Humanities class recently had a unique and exciting experience as members of the Stephen Foster Music Club visited to teach them traditional Regency-era dances. During the lesson, students learned the steps and styles of dances popular during the early 19th century, gaining a deeper appreciation for the culture and social traditions of the time. The class had a great time practicing their new moves, and we hope they’ll be able to show off their skills at the upcoming Regency-themed prom!

Next week, Bethlehem High School is proud to celebrate Green Dot Week, a time dedicated to promoting kindness, safety, and standing up against violence and bullying. The Green Dot initiative encourages our school community to take simple but powerful actions to create a culture of compassion, care, and respect. Throughout the week, students and staff will participate in activities that highlight how small choices—like supporting others, speaking up, and looking out for one another—can help prevent harmful situations. Our goal is to continue building a safe and supportive environment for all students and members of the Bethlehem family, where everyone feels valued, respected, and protected. 💚
