Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father, as we conclude this school year, we pause to thank You for Your guidance, protection, and blessings throughout the year. We are grateful for the growth, learning, friendships, and memories made within our school family. Now, as our students and staff step into the summer months, we ask for Your continued protection and care. Watch over each of them—whether they travel near or far, work or rest, serve or play. Surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from harm, danger, and illness. May this summer be a time of renewal—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Let our students return refreshed, inspired, and ready for the new year. Let our staff find rest, joy, and a renewed sense of purpose in the calling You’ve placed on their lives. Lord, keep Your hand upon our Bethlehem High School family. Unite us in Your love, keep us faithful to Your Word, and bring us back together in the fall with hearts full of gratitude. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Announcements:
Happy birthday today to Blake Miracle! We hope you have a great birthday!!
Make plans to join us at Deacon Cole McDowell's Ordination into the Priesthood on May 31 at 11:00 am at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville. Students who attend should wear their Bethlehem uniform to Mass. We will meet as a group at the church so we can sit together to represent Bethlehem and celebrate our new priest.
Updated Immunization Records Needed: Parents, we have several immunization records for current students that are out of date. If you have an updated immunization record for your child or will be getting one over the summer, please forward one to the school. They can be dropped by the front office or some doctor offices will fax the records directly. Our fax number is 502 349 1247. All schools are required to do an immunization report yearly, so updated records are incredibly helpful. Thank you!
Students who drive to Bethlehem High School need to turn in their parking tags by Friday to the front office.
Seniors can access their graduation photos from Lifetouch by texting 25748GY25 to 90738.
Senior Parents: Please make sure and turn off My School Bucks on your online account. If not, it will assume that the account is still active. You can do it from your online account.
Summer Work Study: If you are interested in Summer work study with Mr. Livers, please fill out the form located here: Summer 2025 Work Study Signup
Bethlehem Summer Office Hours: Bethlehem's office hours in the summer will vary, but are typically Monday-Thursday from 9-2:00. It would be best to call the school before stopping by to confirm that staff are available, or the person you need to speak with is present to address your needs. If you plan to take the permit test over the summer, a form is required from the school that has to be physically completed for each student that expires within 60 days of its issue date. It cannot be faxed or emailed. Please request this form before the end of school from Rita Koontz at [email protected]. We may not be able to honor last-minute requests for this if staff are not available. Thank you for your help and understanding.
What's Going On:
The St. Joseph Church Men's Club will be hosting their annual golf scramble, the proceeds of which help support St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph School, Bethlehem High School and the Bardstown community. It will be held on Saturday May 31 at Maywood with a shotgun start at 8:00am. The entry fee per player is $100, which includes golf, breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Players and sponsorships are both welcome. For information, contact David Wheatley at [email protected].
Athletics:
The Banshees softball team won runner-up in the District Tournament this week and will advance to regional play next week.
Our Eagles track team will be advancing to the state meet at UK on May 29.
The archery team is accepting monetary donations for Laurel County's archery team to help with damages and loss of equipment that took place during the recent tornadoes in London, Ky. Donations of any value will be a blessing and will help offset expenses for damages and loss of equipment. If you’re interested in helping this cause, please donate by May 24, 2025. You may use the link below or send in cash or check tomorrow to school. https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/YG_Qktp0K8GGLlDPGc37DA?t=1747918071

Bethlehem Family!
This week, we’ve had the honor of celebrating three incredible educators who have each left a lasting mark on the heart of Bethlehem High School. Mrs. Mara Huston, Mrs. Fran Spaulding, and Mrs. Connie McDowell have dedicated their time, talents, and unwavering passion to shaping generations of students and helping Bethlehem grow into the special place it is today. Their wisdom, care, and commitment to excellence have touched countless lives, and their presence will be deeply missed. As they begin their next chapters, we thank them wholeheartedly and celebrate the legacy they leave behind. Stay tuned as we share each of their retirement videos in the coming days!
