What did we do at school?
Students in Mr. Joe Payette’s Anatomy and Physiology classes had an engaging hands-on learning experience as they dissected minks to study real anatomical structures. This lab allowed students to deepen their understanding of body systems by observing how they function and connect in a real organism. Through careful observation and teamwork, students applied their classroom knowledge in a meaningful and memorable way. Experiences like this highlight the value of hands-on science and help bring anatomy and physiology to life in Mr. Payette’s classroom.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to Olivia Minor and Mason Patrick on being named Wings and Rings Student Athletes of the Month! Olivia, a senior on the swim team, is a third-year captain and truly the heart of the Banshees. She brings constant positivity, supports and encourages younger swimmers, leads the team in prayer, and is an outstanding role model both in and out of the pool. Mason, a senior on the boys’ basketball team, is a great teammate, an excellent student, and someone who always gives his best effort. We are proud to recognize both Olivia and Mason for their leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence—well deserved!
Club News!
Bethlehem High School’s National Honor Society (NHS) is a distinguished organization that recognizes students who exemplify excellence in scholarship, leadership, character, and service. To be considered for membership, students must maintain at least a 3.6 GPA and consistently demonstrate strong moral character, leadership, and a commitment to serving others. Membership is open to juniors and seniors only and is by invitation based on qualifications, with selected students being notified via email. The group meets once a month on Wednesdays, and active participation is required of all members.
Throughout the year, NHS leads and supports a variety of meaningful service initiatives and school traditions, including the Fall and Spring Blood Drives, Christmas Train, Angel Tree Gift Program, Veterans Appreciation Lunch, Farm to Table Community Event, and the Bethlehem Christmas Parade. These events allow members to give back to both the school and the broader community while growing as leaders and role models. For more information, students are encouraged to contact Mrs. Bell or speak with one of our current NHS student leaders. 💙💛
