🍎✨ Thank You, Sunshine Committee! ✨🍎
A huge thank you to our amazing Sunshine Committee for showering our teachers and staff with treats this week—including the most delicious Candy Apple Bar in celebration of Thanksgiving! 🦃🍏
We are so grateful for the incredible support from our parents and families who love, encourage, and spoil us throughout the year. Your generosity means so much and truly brightens our days.
Our theme for the apple bar said it perfectly…
“We couldn’t have picked any better teachers and staff!” 💙💛

Club News!
Bethlehem High School’s Youth Coalition Council (YCC) is a student-led organization dedicated to promoting well-being, preventing substance use, and fostering a positive school culture. Under the guidance of Dr. Nathalie Corbett, YCC collaborates with various community partners to bring impactful, research-based programs to life. The Sources of Strength initiative—sponsored by the Brothers’ Run Grant and the Department of Education—offers peer leader training, faculty development, and schoolwide activities such as Gratitude Week and the “What Is Your Source of Strength?” project. The Green Dot Program, sponsored by Flaget Memorial Hospital, empowers students and staff through bystander training and hosts the Green Dot Trot, a spring 5K promoting anti-violence and inclusion. Additionally, the Mary’s Hope Garden project, supported by KY United Way, encourages growth and reflection through the planting of yellow tulips. During Red Ribbon Week, YCC leads events sponsored by the KY Youth Empowerment Grant, including a post-football game celebration, morning announcements, and special broadcasts that highlight healthy, substance-free choices. Together, these initiatives showcase the YCC’s mission to inspire leadership, compassion, and resilience within the Bethlehem community. 💛💙
Athletic News!
Recently, our swim team kicked off the 2025–2026 season with an incredible start at our traditional first meet in Russell Springs. This year marks our largest team yet—24 varsity swimmers—an amazing growth from the 14 swimmers they began with at the same meet in 2022. Our athletes continue to impress us with their dedication, traveling across counties for practices and giving their all every time they hit the water. The meet was full of standout performances, with every returning swimmer improving at least one of their times and several new swimmers—Gianna Dillard, Grant Copeland, Corbyn Stivers, and Taylor Goshorn—shining in their first competition. Highlights included Madison Yates winning high point overall for female 8th graders, strong top finishes from Whitney Elder, Caroline George, Ty Johnson, and a huge personal record from Baron Kulsveen. Relay teams also made a statement, with the Girls 200 Medley Relay tying for first and several other groups placing in the top rankings. With a combined 9th place out of 22 high school teams—and the girls placing an impressive 4th overall—this was one of Bethlehem’s strongest showings yet. As they look ahead to their next meet in Elizabethtown on December 6th, we are incredibly grateful for our amazing swim coaches, whose dedication, leadership, and constant support make all of this possible. We are so, so thankful for everything they do.
